RIPPIN' RAFTERS

Welcome graphic

Rippin' Rafters was founded in 1969 with one purpose, and that was to provide a safe and rewarding experience to everyone looking to go on a adventure. Our Mission statement is to provide a rewarding team-building experience within a safe environment.

Activities Provided by Raving Rafters

For our less eager applicants…

We understand that not all our applicants want to jump right into the adrenaline rush of being thrown around by giant standing waves. Not a problem, areas around the spree (our home base) provide much calmer activities where people can enjoy nature rather than feel overpowered by it.

Our activities include…

Fishing
Tributaries leading into the beautiful Coulonge Noir River are plentiful in a variety of fish from the brook trout to the large Northern Pike. Tackle is available for purchase and our guides will show you the hottest spots for the best bites.

Hiking
Our programs provide both river-winding trails, and trails leading up into the hills. Both excursions provide scenery which is unique to Quebec’s wilderness. The end of the trip includes a barbeque dinner cooked by our tour guides. There are also hotspots on all the trails that give you that Kodak moment for you to take home with you.

Swimming
Swimming can be done almost anywhere within our activity boundaries. If you feel brave enough to try the rafting then chances are, you’re going to get wet. So why not go all the way and float down a set of class II rapids? Lifeguards also allow young and old water-lovers to enjoy relaxing by the spree on the river, where you can forget your troubles.

Cliff Jumping
Along the upper rivers, cliffs look over the calm water just waiting to turn into churning rapids. Our adrenaline junkies love jumping off the 15-45 foot monsters and then enjoy a fun float down the river where they get picked up and taken back to do it again if they wish. This is not recommended for individuals with a fear of heights.
